This was my third time spending a weekend and it was as lovely as ever.
It's so conveniently located. You can walk to State St. for shopping, dinning and fun venues. And, most of all, the ladies of the inn are spectacular! The rooms are beautifully decorated and the food is 5 stars! Thank you Marie and Vicki for always making us feel welcomed and loved.

Room tip: All the rooms are great! The Garden and Jacaranda rooms have private entrances... these are my personal favorites.

Bath street inn is a 10 bedroom home with 3 levels. Home was built in 1895 and has been an inn for 35 years. Each room has an attached bathroom. We stayed on the third floor where there were 3 bedrooms but we were the only occupants on our level during our brief stay. We were in the Tiffany room and had a very enjoyable stay. Place was immaculately clean. Beds were of the right firmness and very comfortable. No street noise. There is ability to charge an electric vehicle for a fee if needed but arrange for the parking spot in advance. Afternoon dessert and tea set out at 4pm but left out through the evening. Wine and cheese at 5:30pm-6:30pm. Scrumptious breakfast full sit down and service from 8am-9:30am. Wide assortment of books and VHS tapes that guests can borrow. There is a TV with VCR in the room. We enjoyed meeting the innkeepers who were so nice and helpful. There was a warm fireplace in the living room where we took breakfast which was a nice touch on a wet rainy day.

The room was absolutely cute and relaxing, with tea, wine, cookies, cakes, and nice people to talk to. A perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of busy city life. We appreciate everyone there taking the time to accomodate us and leave extra treats out for us even when we were on the later end of checking in. We will definitely look to stay here again.

I took my fiance here for an early birthday surprise :) We loved how intimate and personal the staff made our stay feel. They were attentive to our dietary needs and made sure that everything was perfect! We loved that we could walk into downtown and how pretty the neighborhood is.The breakfast was delicious, and the best house made granola ever! We would love to come back and visit again.

We stayed just one night on a trip from LA to SanFran. This place oozes old-fashioned charm. We stayed on a Monday night in October and so there were only perhaps two other couples who both seemed to be staying in the annex. We found ourselves alone for both the nicely presented wine and cheese hour before dinner and our tea and cake later in the evening so we had the charming common area all to ourselves. We stayed in the Balcony Room which was, as we had been warned, not for the tall or claustrophobic but would be especially nice for a single traveler. It did have everything we needed for a one night stay packed into it's compact space...comfortable queen bed in a slanted ceilinged nook leaving little space for anything other than a luggage rack, a small sitting area with two overstuffed chairs and a small tv, a very small balcony and a small but adequate bathroom with a stall shower that also had a slanted ceiling...no closet for hanging clothes which was fine for an overnight but would probably rule this room out for a longer stay. My only real negative was that I think it is time for the carpet to be replaced. For breakfast the next morning we chose the yummy hot egg dish and fresh fruit but there was also a selection of muffins, granola, yoghurt etc. From our arrival to our departure, the staff was friendly and helpful, engaging with us when we initiated conversation and otherwise leaving us to enjoy our own company...perfect! The location was ideal for us as the area was quiet but it was not within walking distance of the beach area and pier if that is important to you. A perk you don't find in many places...I left my favorite sweat shirt behind and they kindly mailed it back home to me.

Room tip: Annex rooms may be more modern. Take the bathroom into consideration as you may want or not want a shower over a claw foot tub.
