We stopped here for breakfast and were extremely happy we did. It was fabulous. They are a little pricey for breakfast food however it's totally worth the extra for great food. Service really could have been better however we ignored it due to how delicious the food was.

Its 8am and the street is still quiet but we just had the BEST breakfast experience EVER. There is nothing about this meal, location and service that wasn't completely amazing. Our waiter, Edgar, was very engaging and helpful. He made our entire morning.

Without a doubt we had the best eggs Benedict dish every prepared. Sounds crazy I know, but I have never had hollandaise this perfect. The egg was perfectly poached. The pastry it sat on was divine. So many flavor sensations going on, that there is a secret in this recipe somewhere for sure.

You'll be sad if you pass up the chance to have breakfast here. Come early and workout first. That way you can appreciate the decadence with less guilt.

Had some wonderful crab cake eggs Benedict for brunch. The restaurant has a lovely outdoor patio as well as inside seating. We ended up sitting inside. The place is normally pretty packed so plan on a bit of a wait if you are going for brunch.

We were visiting Santa Barbara for the day when we decided to stop somewhere for dinner. It has been a few years since we have been there so were not sure where to eat. We walked up and down State St. until we found this place. The menu on the board looked interesting so we decided to walk in and checked their bakery. We tasted their best selling marzipan creation bu tI am not a fan of marzipan. I find it too sweet. We decided to stay for dinner and it turned out to be a great decision. We started with their house made chicken liver pate and served with red cabbage and pumpernickel bread. The flavor was good and the texture was right on. Then I had their Charlotte''s salad. I found the strawberries too sour.but the reduced balsamic dressing on wonderful fresh bed of greens was sumptuous. Then we had the crispy roast duck served (again) with their delicious red cabbage and a baked apple. The skin was crispy and seasoned very well. The only problem
is that they do not give you enough. It was less than half a thigh with the leg so there is not enough meat. Our waiter said that we were going to have half a breast with it but there was no breast (we got a bony backbone with skin) . I probably will not order this again. The dessert was a bomb but we did not order from their dessert tray. We ordered the Sarah Bernhardt which was a almond macaroon with chocolate souffle dipped in dark chocolate.Presentation of the dishes were wonderful and the service (Michael) was phenomenal. The wine choice as he recommended was perfect. ( Buttercake pinot noir)

We had a very satisfactory lunch at this fairly small establishment, in a very nice location downtown. Some outside seating as well as inside . Service was excellent and friendly. The food was a bit expensive but the dishes were large ; so much so that we split a huge tri-tip salad ($16.95). It took a while to get the salad to us so they gave us two delicious ( complimentary ) soups to fill the delay! We also bought some take-away cakes (great) ; all pastries and cakes are baked on the premises.
