After an 11 day tour of Hawaii, we decided to add a week of relaxation in Santa Barbara before our long journey home.
We chose the Canary because of it's central location as we didn't want to hire a car or rely on transport to get about. It was a great choice for the aforementioned, and other, reasons e.g. friendliness of reception staff - nothing was a bother and we were greeted with a smile and a wave every time we entered or left the hotel. They printed out maps, checked out specific shops we wanted to visit i.e. what location they were in, how we would get there etc. A special mention for Lauren who confirmed out transport back to L.A. Airport.and to Eddie who came to speak to us every time he passed to ensure we were having a good time. They could certainly train hotel staff worldwide on how to treat guests.
The daily complimentary wine hour between 5.00 and 6.00 p.m. proved a great ice-breaker among guests. It was a wonderful end to our trip - thank you.
