We loved the scenery and the ambiance but that was not the best thing... The food was superb. A bit pricey, but the roasted oysters were over the top.everything was as it it should be on this wonderful harbor retaurant. The dining experience was well worth it.

I went with friends and actually had a great Lobster dinner that was priced under $30.00. The restaurant is upstairs on the waterfront right by the harbor so it's nice to take a walk on the pier after dinner. They also have GREAT Mail Tai's.

Tried to go to Brophy Brothers a few doors down but long wait so went to Chuck's. No wait, hmmmmm.
Overpriced barely warm food. Famous clam chowder could have been good if it wasn't barely lukewarm. Artichoke crab dip so cold the cheese wasn't melted -- could still see the shreds of cheese. The rest of the dishes were unmemorable. But prices were extremely high.
Save your money and go somewhere else.

Great food. We had the combo and it was great. Awesome iced tea. Decent view but not much of the ocean.

We had a dinner before the theater on a Saturday night. Our dinner reservation was at 6:00 pm, so the place was mostly empty. We chose an inside, window table, as it was a bit windy and cold on the patio. I ordered the cioppino and my wife order fish stew. Both were tasty, albeit a bit salty. Mine had two shrimp, two clams, a few mussels, and some calimari rings. A very light meal for sure, and even though the price was reasonable ($18), it was still high for such a small amount of shellfish. The fish stew was more plentiful. Both seemingly used the same tomato base, which was quite spicy. Great for me, but a bit hot for my wife. It is a terrific view of the harbor from this location, assuming that you are on the patio, or an inside window seat. The hostess called us a couple hours before the reservation to see if we wanted inside or out, which was a very nice touch. Service was adequate, but we couldn't help noticing a manager scurrying around telling the small staff what to do, but offering little help himself.
