Nice location, excellent service, and good food! Plenty of parking close by.
Starters range from $9-$18, pastas from $18-$27, main courses from $26-$36. Wine by the glass from $10-$19! ; however, the wine steward will do the pour at your table, and it is a generous pour, definitely 6oz.

We needed light and were not disappointed. Delicious pear and Gorgonzola salad with walnuts and a light vinaigrette and perfect loup du mer. Wow. With good wine not so expensive. Would do it again, definitely!

First, the setting and service were fantastic. We have wanted to try this restaurant for a while so on a recent trip to SB we made reservations. The salads were very fresh, crisp and flavorful (not swamped in dressing either). I have not had quail in decades so I ordered it on a whim. Not only was the quail cooked perfectly, it was stuffed with a mild sausage that just made this over the top. Portions are sized right for a nice light meal leaving room for the excellent desserts made on premise. A new favorite in downtown Santa Barbara.

I would not waste the money to go here. It was overpriced, pretentious and small portions. We were seated in the back room, which, for the price, should have been decorated much better. We had a view of the parking lot exit next door. Your couldn't put in half shutters over the cheap windows? We probably paid enough for our dinner to get some at Home Depot. I've had way better Italian food in Tacoma, WA.

We ate here with a group of about 12 people. The table was the right size. The waiters were very accommodating all night and right on with service. The meat and cheese plate appetizer was loaded, more then I have seen on an appetizer plate. They seemed to have a very extensive wine list. The ambiance is perfect Italian. I went with the daily special of short ribs and my wife had the Risotto Allimone E Gamberetti. My short ribs came out perfectly. Very tender and flavorful. The brussel sprouts were also cooked perfectly (most restaurants under cook them). My wife's risotto was cooked well with a strong lemony flavor. We both thought that was good also. With that many people, it seemed like most of the people there had one of the menu items. Except for one under cooked steak, which was replaced with another great menu item- no questions asked - everyone enjoyed their meal. They had some standard dessert menu items also. We had what they referred to as bread pudding, but was really a chocolate molting cake with bananas on top. Was good, but was not bread pudding.

This place lived up to its reviews. For a higher end, Italian restaurant in Santa Barbara, this is the place to go.
