“Good, not great”
Reviewed March 9, 2014

I took my mom for dinner to this restaurant after reading reviews on Tripadvisor. While I liked the food in general it was not outstanding by any means. The root salad was better in presentation than in preparation. The sea bass was kind of dry to my taste. I was told by the waiter that it's a different fish than the sea bass I'm used to at Cape Cod and it was different indeed unfortunately to the worse . It was not bad but that's all I can say. The whole lamb was the best of our meals. We also ordered two glasses of Langoria Pinot Noir which was fine but definitely wasn't worse $19 a glass. Service was good and to my surprise the restaurant was half empty at 7:30pm on a Saturday night.

“Unique dining experience”
Reviewed March 3, 2014 via mobile

Very nice restaurant. The menu is for sharing. We opted to just have appetizers, salad, and dessert. Fresh food...we ran into a chef at the farmers market. The food is unique, very good. The brussel sprouts were awesome! They also had pavlova for dessert, which I love! It is a small restaurant, so we ended up sitting very close other tables.

“Excellent lunch”
Reviewed February 22, 2014 via mobile

We were in the area and picked this restaurant for lunch. Crab cakes and sandwiches were well prepared with interesting additions such as corn and sauces. Price is reasonable. Patio is beautiful. Recommended overall.

If you visit Santa Barbara you should go to Wine Cash. Its a great place to eat a perfect meal with your friends but you have to take in consideration that its expensive but again the dishes served deserve the high prices.

Reviewed February 12, 2014

The Wine Cask features many unique menu choices with interesting food combinations and innovative ingredients. The environment of the restaurant is comfortable and luxurious. The noise level was very comfortable making it easy to enjoy the company of our dinner companions. Good place to enjoy a dinner with friends!
