We sat on the patio and the service was great on a Saturday night. We shared appetizers (cauliflower and filet bites). Sharing appetizers was perfect. They have all sorts of wines on tap that are great. This was a right place for us. The only reason we didn't give it a 5 was because it was a little pricey.

A nice special occasion Restaurant suitable for dressy romantic night out-or with a Group-but still comfortable enough for casual attire. Service is flawless and not too stodgy. Simple but excellent two course main Menu is well armed with Veal, Steak, Seafood, Pork, Duck, Risotto etc. Impressive wine list was expected of course and I'm always thrilled to see large format bottles available (bonus points). Portions were significant and probably too much
food-smaller portions at the same prices would still be quite a good value. Steak is excellent-one of the most flavorful and well cooked I've had and I would typically not order a steak! Pork was also incredible..everything else was delicious too and you really can't go wrong here.

The host went out of his way to make recommendations that sounded mouth watering and we enjoyed the seafood tremendously. Our friends from Santa Barbara know the owner, so we got VIP hospitality

The courtyard was perfect for our family of 17. We were able to request the round tables we preferred. Adam and Branden (?) were fabulous hosts. The food and service were amazing. Thanks.

We hadn't heard much about this place from the hotel literature and it wasn't that easy to find. They have tables in a courtyard and generously spaced tables indoors with high ceilings and a big fireplace. It wasn't crowded on a cool Thursday night so we picked a place a few tables away from the crackling flames. The mixed greens salad with toasted pistachios, goat cheese in a mint vinaigrette we split was great. The local sea bass tasty and the Veal Osso Bucco with apricot spaetzle, grilled radicchio and charred scallions was an unusual presentation of this classic. Like all our meals on this trip we were able to sample before buying wines by the glass. Those recommended by our waiter, Derek, who was raised in the area and very knowledgable about all things Santa Barbara were well matched with our entrees. It was an end to a wonderful week in Santa Barbara. We also ate at Pierre Lafond Wine Bistro, Maggie's, Bouchon and Arch Rock Fish on this trip and found it impossible not to get a good meal.
