We ate here on our first night in Santa Barbara and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was lovely and the service good. There was a warm and lively atmosphere. No complaints!

While we didn't have high expectations of this restaurant, as it was selected on a Sunday evening primarily for its convenience to our hotel, it was somewhat less than satisfactory, particularly given its prices. The food, wood-fired pizza and rabbit lasagna were both mediocre, and the wait staff was very inattentive (finally had to remind the waitress to pick-up our drink orders). Would not repeat nor recommend.

I love the decor. The location is fun near the railroad station, the artful INDIGO Hotel, and the Funk Zone. It was quiet when I went the first time for breakfast, busy when a friend and I returned on a weekend evening. I like the menu and was especially fond of their Roman style fried artichokes. As a local, I will return.

6 pretty women screeching at the bar made this difficult for many of us, including wait staff whose route was blocked. Dreadful acoustics. Saturday night made its kitchen busy (Good for them!). Food very medium (we 2 shared appetizers of octopus, meatballs, $10 for 5 bits of greasy battered deep-fried artichoke mistakenly called "Roman style" which are definitely NOT battered, polenta, pizza, salad.) I wanted to taste lots of things. In the end we had it all packed up TO GO. Cacophany. Waiter told us they're changing acoustics next month so it will be worth trying one more time. Chef works hard to buy local.
