cabins: pure bliss. no phones - no tv - cannot get much better. views from select cabins of the hillsides - creek (check for water content), comfy beds, adequate bathrooms. the only snag - would be nice to provide utensils and basic kitchen ware. environment: superb hiking/walking trails, rustic pool area.
the best part - summer concert series. sooo much fun - couples - family - singles, you name it - if you are human, this is the place to be!

“Nicely Done all the way around.”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

Right to the point. I stayed in one of the cabins, which was wonderful. The main room has the Queen bed and the loft is where the kids slept on mattresses. there is a small private bathroom with shower and a kitchenette. The area was beautiful and the market at the base of the canyon was full featured with local wines and even a small cafe. The only downside was the presence of poison oak in the creek and higher up the hills which kept us and the kids from exploring more.

NOTE: I went as part of a conference so activities were prearranged so can't speak to those.

“Refreshing, in a good way.”
Reviewed March 29, 2013 via mobile

I was a bit of a sceptic; too many nights being pampered in hotels. It's a cabin; with a bathroom and bunks. They're well laid out, small but clean. You get a fire pit, a good store selling provisions, a well run site, no cars, a pool, hikes, countryside, animals wandering through, lots of families, and frogs singing from the creek. And if you look up at night; a myriad of stars. The rest, you figure it out for yourself. No app for that. If you find that hard and expect a hotel experience, don't come here.
