“La Arcada, a beautiful place to stroll.”
Reviewed April 21, 2014

Beautiful location to enjoy an outdoor meal, or get a haircut in an old fashioned barbershop with a real barbershop pole, or enjoy a lovely art gallery, or just stroll through the La Arcada and stop to watch the turtles in the fountain.

“very nice”

and don't forget to visit Arcada, it's a small street near State Street. you will surely enjoy its atmosphere. it reminded me of European Old towns. I highly recommend to include it in your Santa Barbara trip.

“Charming shopping arcade”
Reviewed February 4, 2014

Not a chain store to be found. YAY! Plenty of local flavor and interesting outdoor art, art galleries, restaurants and boutiques. Love the turtle fountain!

“No chain stores in this sweet little arcade”
Reviewed January 15, 2014

This little shopping "alley" next to the city's art museum is a charmer. Art galleries, boutiques, shady benches, wine-tasting and a couple of small restaurants make it worth visiting when up in the 1100 block of State Street. Don't miss Lewis & Clark Gifts (no same-old/same-old knick-knacks there!)

“Bronze statues realistic! Amazing.”
Reviewed May 31, 2013

Lovely courtyard to walk around in and browse. Went on Memorial Day, so shops were closed, but the turtle fountain was a delight, it was not crowded, and the bronze stautes are worth a look. Don't miss it, and best of all, it's FREE!
