“17?”

I'm sorry, but this attraction should not rate this high. (It was rated higher than the Botanic Garden, Stearns Wharf when I posted this.)

“Whoa, it's big and awesome”

This huge tree is not just a tree. It is huge. If you are down on State St anyway go have a look. It's not like the redwoods so don't figure you've seen one already.

“Nice to see once”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2012

Getting there was a little confusing but once we found it we liked taking pictures near the large exposed roots. There's a chain around the tree to prevent people from climbing but you can still get close enough for pictures to turn out well. We've seen it once and probably won't need to again.

“Trees of SB”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2012

The Fig tree is fairly large for one in the Southwest. I have always admired it when at the train station area, or from the 101 freeway it is also somewhat visible. The only other similar I have seen is on Padaro Lane, on a private residence.
