We travelled to Santa Barbara from Las Vegas and Olio Pizzeria ways such a breath of fresh air compared to the overhyped overpriced Vegas "restaurants". Right from start to finish we were impressed. The staff were lovely and the food was amazing. I loved my pizza which was mixed calamari and shrimp - perfect. There's plenty of other choices for those who don't want pizza too.

We were sad to find such a gem of a restaurant on the last day of our vacation :(

we had a very fresh, light beginner salad and a pizza which were way above average.....the dressing was freshly made oil and vinegar with subtle seasonings and a squeeze of lemon...and the service was spot on, very friendly and efficient. Definitely my new place to meet friends for a casual linch in an Italian cafe setting

Great beer list and excellent scotch offering from the bar. They pizza is great and the menu is very Italian with cheeses, salads and meats, all available like appetizers so you can just have drinks and nibble. But, space is fairly tight and it can get noisy when crowded and the service isn't that great at the start but then it improves once they get around to taking your order. We've gone here three times now and I'll continue to return but am always amazed to leave there knowing I just spent $70 for a couple of beers, a shared salad and pizza! So I guess I really like the pizza!

We all had sandwiches and they were wonderful. Service was a bit slow, but not awful at all. We will return when we get back there.

This is an upscale pizza restaurant with more than pizza. We came for dinner and enjoyed it so much,we came back two days later for lunch and found they have an entirely different menu for lunch but you can order from both menus. Traveling with two 9 year olds, we couldn't try some of the more unusual menu items but we did manage to introduce the kids to some things slightly out of the norm - for them - and they were very happy and so we returned.
At dinner, we started with a dish of their olives and octopus salad, both of which were very good. To please our son, garlic bread was required. That proved to be a pizza crust with garlic, light and pleasant. The pizza crusts are of the very thin variety. We had two pizzas which were plenty for the four of us. The four cheese had gorgonzola which our son - who is just expanding his food repretoir - pronounced terrific! Our daughter picked the sausage and mushroom which
was also a winner. While not very far from the ordinary, it was a milestone for the kids. There
were, however, a number of more interesting and different pizzas as well as starters and salads
on the menu. For dessert, we agreed on the roasted, caramelized peaches, served warm.
For lunch, we talked our daughter into helping us with the seafood pizza and the kids also ordered the comfortable mushroom and sausage. We started with an arugala, orange and fennel
salad which was the only disappointment. Mostly arugala which was bitter, so-so dressing and
little of anything else. There were quite a few salads and some very interesting egg dishes as
well as pannini. What we saw passing by all looked good but because of the kids, we had to stay
within their comfort zone. For dessert, we tried the cannoli. Very good but no match for those
peaches we nearly fought over at dinner!
Service was very good. We had the same server both meals. Our daughter lost a baby tooth while chomping on pizza at lunch and he surprised her with a bowl of strawberry ice cream. The restaurant is casual and lively. Wine list is mostly Italian.
