“It's in Your Own Back Yard!!!”

We grabbed a few sandwiches, drinks, and headed out for some crazy fun. We went to Chanel Islands, took out a ferry to Channel Islands National Park and went kayaking. We went through some awesome caves, saw beautiful fish swimming right underneath our boat. We could have been anywhere the world that has a collection of Islands but we were just a few miles of the coast in Ventura Ca. If you have a day, that's all you need to fit this excitement into your plans.

“A well planned and exciting boat trip and paddle.”
Reviewed August 6, 2010

There were dolphins alongside the boat on the ride to the island, which was a great way to start off the adventure. We had originally planned on individual kayaks, but the surf was a little bigger than usual, and it was recommended to us we might want to go tandum. The extra power was good and we were able to go into all of the caves. There were beautiful sights and colors. The staff, guides, and the whole experience were all wonderful.

“fun time for 3 generations”
Reviewed August 6, 2010

My family was in town - there was 11 of us, ranging in age from 9 to 77. Paddle sports patiently worked with me to provide fitted wetsuits for all and of course kayaking equipment for all. The guides were friendly and fun. We saw the most amazing sights- sea lions herding a school of fish into a cave all around us. Beautifully lit caves. Then we snorkeled at the end in the cove. It was a very memorable trip

“An incredible way to view the Channel Islands”
Reviewed August 6, 2010

We had an incredible experience with our group of girl scouts out on the Channel Islands this summer. J.D. and the gang safely took our entire group (some with a little coaxing) through the incredible sea caves near Scorpion anchorage. We will definitely be back again next summer. Thanks!
