This is an older motel that has been remodeled and made into a Quality Inn.

The parking lot is cramped and it would probably be tough if it was totally fully and everyone had big cars or SUVs. Not an easy in and out in that case. Notice that the website photos don't have any cars in the parking lot.

The rooms were clean and basic, and the check-in was fine.

The hotel is on the corner of 2 major streets, so it isn't in a quiet area. The walls are thin and a group checked in late to the room next to ours and we could hear every word. It sounded like a bunch of college kids on spring break, but it turned out to be a very loud family with small kids (and the kids weren't making the most noise), They did, however, quiet down when I went over in my PJs at 2 a.m. and asked them to keep it down.

I mistakenly thought that we could easily walk to the Santa Barbara Pier from this hotel, but it would have probably taken 35-45 minutes. We decided to drive once we figured that out, and we were glad we did even though it took a bit of time to find parking.

While this hotel wasn't awful, I certainly wouldn't pick it for my next trip to Santa Barbara.

It was nothing special. For the price in that area it was a good deal.

The AC was very noisy though. Everything was clean and in order.

We where caught in traffic and arrived late. That was not a problem for them.

Did it's job.

A recent visit to this hotel by 4 women travelling together was quiet and pleasant. True, our room was small but we made it work and were comfortable. We especially appreciated the very helpful staff and cleanliness of the room. It is also centrally located to the sites we wanted to see and quiet even though close to the freeway. The breakfast was tasty and filling. We would stay again.

Room Tip: a room at the back of the hotel kept outside noise down.

This is the 2nd year we have stayed at this location on our travels. We only stay for one night, it was perfect for a one night stay, the light breakfast was nice and we would stay here again. It was very clean, a little older hotel, small... worked for us.

We were pleased with our room. This was a small hotel but felt like a larger one. The free breakfast was light and exactly what we were looking for. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel.
