“Perfect place to watch the sun go down”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

At the conclusion of a local wine tour we were dropped off at Stearns Wharf, a place we remembered visiting 15 years ago when we last visited from Australia. A late friday afternoon was shared by numerous families and fishermen taking advantage of a pleasant friday afternoon in winter. A lovely meal at one of the restaurants watching the sun go down capped off a lovely day in Santa Barbara before our bus trip back to LA.

“I is cold in winter outside”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

The food is good and the service very nice. You can eat peanuts and drop the shells. The seafood is of average quality, but the "Fisherman's porch" was very good and it warmed me up. The portions are massiv and you will not stand up hungry.
If you are there in Winter make sure you have a heater around you because it can get cold. Even so when you have to watch the poor waitresses running around almost naked like in "Hooters". But the girls a profs and very helpful even you show up with 10 over people.

“Santa Barbara Trip”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

Interesting that the parking all around the pier area, except a few street locations taken up by locals, charges you to park. $3 for 90 minutes. On the pier it is free 75 minutes if you have a merchant stamp your card. However, the good news for us the gate closed at 7 and we did not have to pay but had already paid at the park before the pier! Great place to walk and get some history. There is the marine museum, ice cream and all prices of food eateries. A good go to place while visiting this area!

“History stop”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

A good place to stop for views of the harbor. Fairly "touristy" but some good places for lunch and souvenirs. We didn't spend much time here.
