“Must try their specialty”
Reviewed January 17, 2012

My sister & brother in law took us there for lunch on our wedding anniversary. It's at least half an hour drive to get there, but the dining experience was worth it. We ordered a hot pot with assorted seafoods. It came served with vegetables and vermicelli noodles. The broth was so tasty, and the variety of seafoods (shrimp, clams, strips of calamari) were all so good. Then came their specialty, a big cat fish that was baked, crunchy and fresh that you eat by putting some on thin rice paper, add the variety of veggies, both fresh & pickled with basil & mint, roll then dipped on a yummy sauce. Not only was it fun, but something different, very good & quite filling! We difinitely will go back. The catfish is not on the menu, but just say Catfish and they know what to serve you. Every table when we ate there had it.

“Best baked fish restaurant”
Reviewed October 5, 2011

This is the place to visit if you like to have a baked catfish
they will make you work for this dish, the fish is baked to perfection but you have to do lot of work. Lot of vegetable and you have to use the rice paper (soften in water) to roll the fish, vegetable and other stuffs in. Deep in the sauce and eat. Great food

“Away from Little Saigon area”
Reviewed February 17, 2009

Have been there 3 times during visits to Little Saigon. Food is above average, especially the fish since that is what they are known for. The ambience inside is romantic with dim lighting, the servers for the most part were friendly. The problem I have is outside the restaurant. I am (or I was) a smoker. Stepped out to have a cig and saw homeless people sleeping by the dumpster. Ruined my appetite.

“Favori: Good Food, Bad Service”
Reviewed August 4, 2008

The food is good but the service sucks. I have gone there four times in the past months just for the food, and all of the time the cashier is rude to us. On weekends we do get some nice waiters but because they are packed and booked more reservations than they have tables for, the waiters would always rush us. My table was ask "are you done yet? We could to go that for you. When do you think you'll be done?" like four times! When I dine during the weekday, the waiters never smile at us and seem very annoyed when we ask them to get us extra napkins or utensils.

I have to warn you that only certain food are good, some are not worth the money. So ask them for their specials. But the good thing is, you don't have to tip them a lot because of bad service.
