Like others who have reviewed this place, at first you figure it's just going to be a regular coffee shop located at a Best Western, but it was more than that. We enjoyed a lunch here. I had a great Salmon Salad, and my husband enjoyed his Omelet. We liked it so much, we came back for lunch the next day, when I had the Fish and Chips and he had the Calamari and Chips. Definitely good food and good prices!

Arrived in the evening and stopped here for dinner. We didn't have a reservation, but only had a short wait before being seated. The food was very good and it seemed to be a popular place based on the number of customers. The host and the wait staff did a good job and were friendly. There is a view of the ocean, but it is not on the beach. We randomly picked this restaurant after we checked into our hotel and we thought it was good value.

Visited here for dinner in October. Sat by the window overlooking the ocean which was pleasant. My hubby had the fried chicken which unfortunately seemed overcooked and way too crunchy, he nearly broke a tooth! I had a chicken dish which was had a Chinese flavour (like sesame/honey) but again I wasn't that keen on it. On the plus side, the waitress was very friendly and the place got very busy, so maybe it was just a bad choice - still seemed the best place to eat in the area though!

We ate three meals at the Cavalier Oceanfront Resort. At breakfast we shared a good Denver omelette, that came with a choice of breads, plus potatoes and fruit. We added a really tasty, fresh-baked muffin on the side. Price: $22, including coffee, tip and tax.

For lunch, we shared grilled turkey sandwich with very good sweet potato fries and an extra side of cole slaw. The lunch was uniformly good, and we had not complaints. Price: $16, including tip and tax.

For dinner, we had the prime rib ($20) and the angel hair pasta with seafood ($18). Despite stressing our desire for medium rare prime rib, the meat was overcooked and served medium, though it was a decent cut. All in all, the dinner was good but not better than average. Service was attentive and sincere, and the staff performed well. Including two glasses of a California Cabernet, plus tip and tax, the dinner cost us about $70, which we felt was fair value, all things considered.

We didn't stay there but ate at the restaurant. Don't usually like motel restaurants but this was exceptional. Had the snapper which was awesome. Good service and reasonable prices. Make a reservation as it was mid week and as we left there was a waiting list. We went out and enjoyed one of the fire pits on the beach after eating. Nice place.
