We stayed at the Sea Breeze Inn for a week. If you want a good deal, this is a nice place to stay. The staff was very friendly.

We had a partial ocean view, and were close to the beach. Just walk down the street and through the field, and there is an unmarked path, where we could walk right down and have what felt like a private beach.

The room was decently clean when we got there, however, between nights they'll just make your bed and give you new towels, and take the trash out, so by the end our floor and sheets were dirty.

Also, there is nothing much to eat or do in San Simeon- but at least this hotel is on the South side of the City, a five minute drive to Cambria

Room tip: second floor for partial ocean view.

ALTHOUGH we only spent one night, staff was friendly and helpful. Overall quality of the room was excellent. Would recommend to anyone. View was nice. Did not want for anything. Area restaurants aren't that great. Overpriced.

We enjoy this getaway costal hamlet. There is only motels, restaurants two convenience stores one night club & beautiful beaches. So If you want to shop this is not the place but Cambria is 3 miles up the road.

We stayed 2 nights in a king room on the second floor. We had a partial ocean view due to the townhomes between the motel and the ocean.
Check in was quick and smooth. There is an outdoor pool, but it was chilly outside, and we didn't use it.
The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was comfortable-- fluffy pillows also. There was a microwave, mini-fridge and coffee maker in the room. The vanity was in the bathroom.
I would definitely stay here again. Very reasonable price for the area and time of year. Staff was friendly, too.
The walls were thin, and we could faintly hear the person in the next room snoring, but not loud enough that it would keep us awake.
Sam Simeon is a tiny town, but they're were quite a few restaurant choices.
(We ate at the Sunset Grill across the highway, and the California burger was fantastic!)
The motels close to Moonstone Beach, the elephant seal watching beach, and Hearst Castle.(Don't miss any of them.)
We drove into Cambria for dinner at
The barbecue chicken was delicious, as was the southwest salad. It was a lot of food for a great price.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Sea Breeze Inn. The check in staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was large, very clean, with fairly new carpet and bad. There was no air conditioning in the room, and that was an issue as it was unusually hot during my stay, but the front desk staff helped organize a fan for me which made all the difference in the world.
