Max's has gone downhill....way downhill. Most importantly, the staff appears to hate their jobs and they certainly take it out on the customers. Grumpy, scowling and slow...they are the reason this place will eventually fold. The food has gone downhill as well. We had the broiled salmon and everything (fish and veggies) came out oily and greasy.

We’ve always' been big Max's fans but this location is definitely past its prime.

This place may not be cheap, price wise, but you sure get a lot of food! Their drinks from the bar are strong too!

I love the Reuben and the Matzo Ball Soup! Generous portions, but you pay for it and I'd say to be fair, it can be a little pricey. The atmosphere is quite fun. Somewhat of a throw back into time with seating booths equiped with mini juke boxes and bottles of condiments that scream "AUTHENTIC DELI FOOD" lol.

If you haven't tried the dessert menu, buyer beware! TOTALLY HUGE and if you just ate one of their meals... lol, you might have to pack this to go or share with everyone in your party.

Max's has been around forever and I hope it always will be there... forever!

Best Wishes and Happy Eats!

I love the matzoh ball soup and a pastrami on rye. This has the roots of a great jewish deli and is the closet thing I've found to feed that craving around here. It has the casual diner atmosphere and is decently priced. Go give it a try!
