“twice a week market”

a lot to choose from but being in Marin, prices seem to be a bit on the high side. You don't get many markets twice a week!

“Perfect way to spend a Sunday”
Reviewed October 4, 2012

There was lots to look at and plenty to taste. My son got his belly full on all the sampling. It was nice to see all the colors and life and smiling faces. That is what we enjoyed the most, seeing families and friends having a good time together.

“Best Farmer's Market in the country”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

Well, at least many reviews say so. This is where be buy most of our food. Fresh, local, high quality. And a fun destination for just being out among people, all doing something positive and life-enhancing. I am so grateful to have access to this kind of food and shopping experience.

“A fun evening out”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

I work right near this and it's always fun to go wander through the booths and see what fresh fruit is available. I am a big fan of the hot food-I particularly like the asian noodles/chicken that are usually there (can't remember the vendor). It's a neat place to hang out.

“Abondanza!”
Reviewed September 24, 2012

Marin County Farmers Market features the best foodie experience you could possible want. Vendors represent the best of Northern California, and the majority of the offerings are organically grown. Early mornings, you may find yourself selecting veggies next to the chefs from the area's top restaurants. Harvest time of year is absolutely gorgeous, each stall overflowing with the goodness of nature. In addition to traditional veggies there are fermented products, hand made tofu, raw foods, jams, jellies, handmade fresh pastas, gluten free bakeries, meats and fish. The art and craft section is also top notch. So you can shop for your meals, pick up a few gifts, sip some delicious coffee as you stroll through the aisles of the best California has to offer. Sit down and have your woodfired breakfast pizza while doing some prime people watching and listening to live music. The location at the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Civic Center is an added plus for architecture buffs.
