Loved the complete facelift given to the restaurant. However, if it really gets hopping and they have people standing at the bar waiting to be seated (or just hanging out to drink) then it's a little bothersome because you have to stand aside to let the wait staff go from the kitchen, past the bar area, to the dining area on that far side. You can't really stand around the bar area if you are in this pathway. I'd ask for some architect fees to be returned on that oversight. Food was just ok. Had the sole piccata and the breading on it was too heavy/much which overpowered the delicate fish and the lemon/butter/caper sauce was instantly forgettable. Another person at the table ordered the same and shared my opinion. Salads were good though. Desserts just ok. We were a party of five: everyone had salad and comparably priced entrees in the $22 range, shared 3 desserts, 1 tea and 2 cappuccinos. Did order two bottles of wine that cost about $70 each so our bill came just shy of $500. If you tease out the liquor cost, it was still about $72 per person. Worth it, ehh not really.
