Great way to spend the day, relax and people/scenery watch. Lots of stalls with mostly craft goods but it's not hard to find something you cannot do without. There are plenty of food trucks and little bars to choose from with lots of places to sit. Parking is free, there is an entrance fee and it's dog friendly. Look online for package deals, you may score and discounted entrance and a free drink!
Awesome market on Treasure Island. I have been to a lot of markets and this is the best one yet. It has tons of vendors and things to check out. The vendors range from traditional Farmers Market crafts and foods to flea market style treasure hunt booths. The market also has a big selection of food trucks with live music. The downside is $5 admission but it's worth it and offset by free parking. You can't beat the views either!
Treasure Fest is not bad...but I expected more. None of the booths or crafts etc seemed that special or unique to me. The food trucks seemed over-priced and not really into it. Maybe I was there early?? I see no reason to go back. Free parking but a $5 entrance fee. Best thing...it's pet friendly.
The TI flea market is great. It's a beautiful location right in the Bay looking out to Berkley and Oakland. Sailboats are floating by as you wander the long strip of craft sellers, food items, food trucks and adult beverages. It's a lot of fun, with free parking and cheap admission. The prices at the flea are very reasonable and you can negotiate. All of the vendors are super nice. It's a nice way to spend the last weekend of a month.
This place is incredible. Great stuff for sale. 4 bars and 40 food trucks. The best view of SF bay being located on treasure island. You will find some great bargains and artsy fartsy stuff.
It's the Wandering Yank here. I have crossed the Bay thousands of times and never stopped at Treasure Island. But on a recent Sunday, a family member suggested a visit. Good idea!
It's very easy to get to, and parking is free. Admission is $3. Many, many booths of crafts, artwork, jewelry, old stuff (some of it junky, but still interesting), a bunch of food trucks, and live music. It is a major leap above most flea markets I've visited, and being in the middle of the Bay the view was great when the sun came out.
2 thumbs up!
