Don't come here looking for nopales, plantains or blue corn tamales. This is the food we Gringos called "Mexican" 40 years ago & Celia's does it very well. Enchiladas, burritos, quesadillas, chile rellenos, etc, with large sides of refried beans @ rice. Choice of corn or flour tortillas on the side.
Freshly prepared tortilla chips and a flavorful medium-heat salsa are great. Hot sauce is available if you want to spike your salsa. Good margaritas. They are sometimes heavy with the melted cheese, so if you don't want that, speak up. Only fail I've had here in years of steady patronage is the Tortilla Soup - watery broth & not much flavor.
