Description: Nestled alongside a quiet lagoon, our fourth restaurant, and the first to feature the upstairs, upscale Top of the Market, has been a dining destination for bay area residents since 1982. This beautiful restaurant also features a full-service cocktail bar and lounge area, and a popular oyster bar. Patio dining is available in the summer months.

Located in the complex tangle of freeway interchanges, The Fish Market is very easy to access if you don't get lost in the process. The meals are always enjoyable. Crab cakes were mostly crab and quite tasty. The service was friendly and well paced, and the atmosphere was inviting.

It's always busy and reliable for good food. Fun atmosphere and kid friendly. Can be kinda pricey for the atmosphere but good food.

Always pleasant surroundings, fresh fish and good service. They are a chain and have a full bar.

During nice weather they have outdoor setting along the water.

If you're in the area and are looking for a great seafood meal, you'll like the FishMarket. I've done multiple business lunches there and am never disappointed.

One of the best things about the restaurant is that it's centrally located between San Francisco and the Peninsula - right at the junction of highways 92 and 101. And it has easy parking (which you don't get in any of the downtown locations).

There's a large restaurant downstairs which does not take reservations and a smaller restaurant upstairs (with tablecloths) that does take reservations. The food is great in both dining areas.

Great for large groups, families and couple dinners - the Fish Market has it all! Consistent service and food, great view; what more can you ask for? I recommend getting a table on the outside patio (weather permitting) or inside patio so you can take advantage of the view. Their au gratin potatoes and clam chowder are a must. Other favorites are the avocado salad, fish tacos and calamari steak. There is a call ahead list which often saves on wait times.
