“Very good Hotel”
Reviewed November 4, 2013

I have stayed on different hotels around SFO, this is the one that I would stay over and over, nothing is wrong with this hotel. The price was good, the staff excellent, location accesible, underground parking, nice place to stay, I am coming back for the hollidays.

It was good to get off a very long flight and stay at a convenient Hotel close to SFO airport for a couple of days, before a long drive to the coast. As long as you take note of the exit off the 101, it is really easy to get to. Friendly staff that were also helpful in giving directions to the Bart station enabling us to enter the city without the hassle of taking the car. A short walk from the Hotel to Coyote Point was also a bonus. We have stayed at this Hotel on two occasions and if we ever come back will certainly stay here again.

I'm usually not one to take the time to write a review, however our recent stay at the Best Western Plus Coyote Point in SanMateo CA has been absolutely wonderful! From the girls at the registration desk, to the housekeeping staff & everyone (including other guests) have gone above & beyond in customer service! The rooms are clean, updated, quiet, & comfortable ! If we had a question from ordering pizza to experiencing a night on the town the staffs recommendations have been second to none. Our last minute trip found us in need of a hotel for 6 nights. Upon arrival we were only confirmed for a one night stay due to the hotel being sold out. Ariel (front desk) never once said "No" or "sorry you'll need to change hotels" rather she informed us when there was a cancellation & our one night confirmed stay has expanded to our entire stay! A big thank you to Best Western Plus Coyote Point !!!!

Room Tip: The only tip I have is to stay here :) And they have laundry facilities !!!

This hotel is right off 101 but you don't notice the traffic noise once inside. The location is ideal to get to San Francisco, San Jose or Monterey. It also has a shuttle for airport service to SFO. It offers breakfast too.

Good Customer Service and Responsive Staff; Popular Hotel; Convenient to Golf, a Nature Center, SFO, and access to Hwy 101; Ample room to enjoy breakfast buffet; rooms are tidy and roomy; parking above, but additional parking below with elevators available to bring guest up to lobby floor. One suggestion for hotel might be to add signage for new guests to maneuver from below-deck parking to lobby. It is not far, just 2 corners to turn.

Stayed here for business meetings in the bay area in october just before halloween.
This place is not too bad if you are here for business. If you are here for something else, you must know that you need a car as there is absolutely nothing in the near vicinity of the hotel.

The hotel is pretty solid and clean but there are a few cons.
I stayed in room 125. The fridge basically froze my food and the temperature button was broken. Safes are in all rooms but are not working and being phased out. Pity, this is pretty important for your business clients.

Light in the bathroom flickers badly in the first few minutes after turned on. They have these automatic sensors that turn off the light if no movement is seen. This is so stupid. The light always turned off while i was in the shower. Really bad joke.
The air conditioning does not heat sufficiently and it made my nights not so good.

TV has many many channels which was very nice. Room was big and the bed was very good. Ample parking outside or underground.

Breakfast is very very basic but free.

In the evening you can drive to hillsdale mall in san mateo or drive further 20 min to university ave in palo alto for a lively late night scene all week.

We stayed here for one night. Very good decor, spacious room, good breakfast. Close to freeway, but room is very quiet. Internet works perfectly. The best is that I paid this night with my best western point.
