“Useless wifi”
Reviewed March 6, 2013

I stay in this hotel frequently. The staff is very friendly and the service is good. But as a business traveler I have to say that the internet (wifi) service is horrible. Completely useless. I complained about it multiple times and it has not been fixed. If you need internet connection - don't stay in this hotel!

Stayed here, room had an odd smell, the WIFI was useless and then there was the AC. My room dropped in temperature so much I had to put on a sweatshirt. I checked out as fast as I checked in. The room was clean but technology and climate control killed my visit.

The rooms were clean, the breakfast is best left uneaten, and the night manager was very rude. Breakfast: the plain omlets were very cold and the scrambled eggs were runny
Every night we were greeted by a friendly gal at the desk. Friday night we (about 12 of us all staying there) ordered pizza and brought beer and 2 bottles of margaritas. We ate and were laughing a lot. The manager came over and told us to leave. We said we would quiet down and she said "no, just go to our rooms". Of the 24 pack of beer only 5 were drank. Of the margarita 1 1/2 bottles were drank. That's not a lot with 12 people. 8 of the people in the group had rooms on the bottom floor and one end next to us had no sleeping rooms. She keeps getting ruder as she was asked questions. She was out of line, could have handled this better, and herself got out of line.
I was also told to park across the street because parking was full. I got a parking ticket even though the morning desk person said not to worry it was ok.

Room Tip: The rooms are noisy when another room flushes a toilet or turns on their shower. Stay somewhere els...

We have stayed here a few times. Location for going into San Francisco is good and price is better than in the city. We had two small complaints. Breakfast is nice but eggs and sausage are always cold. They need to put out a microwave, easy fix. We stayed two nights and asked our floor maid to please make our room up by noon. Didn't happen. Nice, clean rooms, very comfortable beds.

Maintenance problems (no hot water the 1st day - no one bothered to tell me at check in, and when they fixed it Day 2, no one bothered to flush the pipes, so I wound up running water for 15 min to get the rust and air out.), inadequate parking, and freeway noise. The room was spacious, if short on hangers. I won't be back.

My only suggestion is that the breakfast is Very Good, everything else is excellent.

More variety in muffins (only banana nut is available) would be a plus. Starting the breakfast at 5:30 AM would be a plus.
