“Birthday Dinner”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

Celebrated my son's 13th birthday with his favorite fish tacos that he loves so much at the Cheesecake Factory. And of course, we took home their favorite cheesecakes.

“Best french toast ever!”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

I can honestly say that my experience for brunch yesterday at the Cheesecake Factory was great. The staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was nice for a chain the decor is really nice. It was very clean and comfortable. The menu has great choice - for brunch you can have anything from the breakfast menu AND anything from the regular menu too, so really you are spoilt for choice.

The icing on top however was the Bruleed French Toast - seriously, hands down the best french toast I have ever eaten. The bread is thick (1.5in - 2in) and cooked all the way through. The inside has that wonderful custardy texture. The outside is beautifully crispy and sweet, wonderful maple butter sauce. I am not sure if all the chains have the same french toast.

We also noted their bacon was lovely too, we found out later that they don't deep fry it like other places, they double cook it so it has a nice flavour is still crispy but not overly so.

If you like french toast - you must try it here.

“Apathetic service....”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

I travel regularly and like to eat at Cheesecake Factory during the Happy Hour (4-6 pm weekdays); you can't beat the prices and variety. However, this CF fell waaayy short in the service department, unless you enjoy "service with an attitude". The two bartenders and person who delivered my food were impersonable and disinterested in making anyone's dining experience pleasant. I had to ask for a refill (and they were not busy at the time), ask for water and refill, etc....subpar service by most Cheesecake Factory standards. Food was fine, and delivered quickly, as I typically order the summer salad rolls which are premade during the day. They arrived with peanut sauce (yum) and ginger sauce, which had "threads" of ginger in it, which wasn't too appealing because the threads looked like hair. I clarified with the server that these were not hair and she seemed bothered that I might be bothered if it indeed was hair. Kitchen needs to revisit this sauce, as it doesn't look very appealing. (I always order this appetizer, and this sauce was different than all others I have ordered)

At 5:30 pm, both TV's were on news stations (CNN and MNBC). Who really wants to sit in a bar and see the same news over and over while reading lips of the broadcasters? Since it was one day after the Super Bowl, and this restaurant is right in the middle of 49er territory, one would have thought a sports channel would be appropriate.. I was delivered a curt response and look when I asked if the channels could be changed..they were both changed to ESPN, which seemed to the customers next to me as well. Overall, the vibe of this restaurant is unpleasant, and I will not return regardless of their great happy hour menu.
