“Great find!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 16, 2012

My aunt and uncle have taken us to many Chinese cafes in San Mateo for many years on our visits to the area, but this one has to be the best. Excellent service, great food and a nice atmosphere for a family style restaurant. The food came very quickly and was more flavorful than food from most Chinese restaurants we have dined at in the Bay Area and Sacramento. This place warrants a revisit to see if this place is for real.

“I Should Have Tried This Place Long Ago”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2012

I have a new Chinese restaurant find that has been around for some time that has terrific food. The restaurant is appropriately called “Yummy World” and if you have not tried it yet, I highly recommend it.

First of all it is an extremely clean, open, airy and nice restaurant that features new furniture, fast friendly service and great prices. Four of us had dinner yesterday and we took advantage of one of the specials that serves four people. We had Bamboo Piths and Fish Maw Soup, Chicken and Calamari with Greens, Preserved Pork with Chinese Broccoli, Whole Crab with Ginger and Scallions and X.O. Chili Sauce and Seafood Fried Rice. Each of the dishes contained tons of food and were utterly delicious. Moreover, at $49 it was a steal because there was enough leftovers for today’s lunch.

If you are looking for a new Chinese restaurant to try that has great friendly service, huge portions and reasonably price, this is the place.
