“Authentic, high quality Mexican food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2011

Mexican music playing in the background with a nice but fancy atmosphere for couples or families.
Nice choice of meals in various price ranges. Excellent Seafood & fish dishes! Very fresh steamed veggies on the side. If I lived on the area I'd come here often!

“Delicious!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 18, 2010

There are three tiers to Mexican food - Taco Bell, the local Am-Mex and the authentic yummy cuisine that places like El Sinaloense gives to the unworthy gringos like me. The food here is fresh, well prepared and not your run-of-the-mill Mexican cuisine. We've eaten here twice and both times we weren't disappointed. Seafood is their speciality and they know how to cook it. The bar is full, the wine is tasty and the food satisfying. If you're in San Mateo, do yourself a favor and stop in for some authentic food that you won't soon forget.
