My son and I stopped in for lunch. Had the classic turkey he had the Westerner with brisket and jalapeño sausage and both were good and well made will return.

Although you can eat in the restaurant, we usually stop here after church when we want food to take home. Good variety of BBQ menu items...including spinach! Meats have a nice flavor. Sauces are really good...and you can even have an ice cream cone...on them...for dessert.

First time to this franchise. Went with the Holy Kielbasa sandwich spicy jalapeno and cheddar. It was fantastic. For about $6 it was really good. I hope I can not go here too often because it was probably high calorie. Would have given 5 stars but the front counter was just too slow. One guy taking orders and also preparing all the food. During Monday lunch hour you need to have another person. Almost went next door to the Pita place. Also almost order 3 meat plate but saw guy order it in front of me for $15 it was definitely not worth it.

I wasn't expecting amazing since this is a fast food establishment. Certainly smells of BBQ brisket when you walk in. The food overall is good. Enjoyed the Beefy mac. Never thought to add brisket to mac and cheese but would certainly try this again.

Food was dry, dry, dry! Starting with a "Caesar Salad", which was some Romaine and a little bit of Parmesan, with very little dressing, the starter was dry. A sandwich consisting of a Hoagie with sausage and brisket as a filler, the experience again was dry! The brisket was overcooked and without pickles to moisten one's mouth, the sandwich was almost puckering. Pork ribs (half slab) were also overcooked and...guess what...dry! Thank goodness there was extra sauce to slather on. Two sides were excellent: the potato salad and the cabbage with cole slaw dressing. Both were very tasty and moist.
This was our first and last time at Dickey's. Two other local places for ribs, chicken, and brisket - Phil's or Mike's - are cheaper and much tastier with a much larger menu. This whole experience felt very amateurish, even though the restaurant chain has apparently been around for awhile. We are truly amazed at the four and five star reviews. Either people like dry meats or our experience was unusual. In any case, we won't be back to find out.
