We were given a warm welcome and given our room key when we arrived around 3:00PM. The room was as expected (typically Fairfield) and the hotel's location worked for us -- there were a couple of restaurants within close walking distance. The room had all the expected amenities (however, sadly two pods of coffee ... one decaf and one real ... for two people ... I had to locate a housekeeping staff person and traded the decaf for a "real" coffee).
I'll never understand what a hotel is thinking when they book a room for two people and only provide one serving of real coffee (do they expect two people to share one cup from a Keurig machine, or are they being frugal?? ... in either case they are taking hospitable out of "the hospitality industry").
I'd have rated the hotel as "very good" for this reason, but the breakfast was especially good in contrast to other Fairfield Inns and competition with other brands. Lots of fresh fruit and a choice of two types of eggs and two types of sausage. I'd return to the hotel without hesitation.More
