Usually when you hear "Holiday Inn," you tend to think of a good-quality hotel that's more or less pretty standard. This particular one was anything but standard - and definitely of great quality! Starting with the super cool lines of the front desk - which looked like it could be the receptionist's desk at Stark Industries - the experience only got better and more aesthetically pleasing from there. When we got to our rooms, the owners/staff had left personalized notes on the beds for us along with a beach ball for the pool. It sounds like a small thing, but you know what? No one has gifted me a beach ball since I was eight and to be honest, it meant a lot.
The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and clean, as were the rooms. Lots of natural light and a great, post-modern layout with subtle and pleasing lines. That aesthetic extended to the lobby and breakfast area, where there were oversized hooded chairs (not sure what you'd call them but they looked cool), an astro-turfed patio, and a bar. The complimentary breakfast was great, and there was a pool too! 10/10, would stay there again.More
