The restaurant was too cold and several people had to wear a jacket.
We were not seated but was told to choose any table. However, several tables were not cleared and it looked messy. This continued throughout the evening.
A 13-year-old boy (probably the owner's son) wearing what looked like a rugby/baseball top was clearing the tables which did not give the restaurant a professional image.
The service was non-personal with almost zero interaction.
As it was farmer's market day, the restaurant also had an outdoor stand. As the market was closing down, the stand consiting of wood planks was carried through the restaurant leaving the door wide open making the restaurant even colder. This was done with complete disregard to customers still dining.
The food - couscous with lamb - was mediocre. It lacked zest and was bland and to be honest I had doubts about the quality of the ingredients. I ate one quarter of it as a result. The humous was fine. The tea was too expensive at 4.50 dollars and it wasnt possible to tell if this was just made from a teabag wih added sugar.
Other diners appeared to finish off their meals quickly and then leave. The decor and the flamenco music made for a promising ambience but in fact everything else failed to live up to it. All in all a restaurant that lacks passion for for food and customer service.
