“Vineyard gem on the Central Coast”
Reviewed August 27, 2013 via mobile

On our afternoon of wine tasting, Edna Valley Vineyard was by far the classiest presentation. The tasting menu was well chosen and properly represented their offering particularly good was their Chardonnay. I would have liked to have tried their Sauvignon blanc but it was not offered for tasting. The tasting room and the grounds were located on a rise in the valley and offered a great view of the valley floor. On this afternoon the winery was offering a performance by a small band. I was sorry I did not have the time to stay.

“Coastal winery”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

The property is very nice. The tasting room has a lovely view of the surrounding valley. Wines are good. It is not Napa Valley for sure. It is however nice that you have no tour buses, no $$$ tastings. Certainly is worth the visit. The white wines are nice and pretty inexpensive. Also they have a nice assortment of flavored olive oils for purchase. A not to be missed experience when in the central coast of California.

“One of our surprises”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

We hang out (?) in Napa Valley because we living in the San Francisco area. This is not Napa. But that's good and bad. The whole Edna Valley lacks the touch of snobbery of Napa with $30 tastings, tour buses, and $100 a bottle wine. The Edna Valley is way more lay back.
As the wine guy at Edna Valley Vineyards said most of their wine is sold at Safeway. Just good reliable whites. BUT some of the wine sold only at the winery is outstanding. Definitely worth buying a case to take home. I also like their show garden of vines and pruning. Very educational and well worth the time to walk thorough it.
If you are in the area make a detour to see the winery and valley.

“Very good wine on an awesome unique view”

Testing Edna's wines was great. An amazing view made me feel in another dimension. The place is super relaxing and the man at the desk is very kind. My favorite were the white wines.
A great experience I suggest to everyone

“Gorgeous view and good wine”
Reviewed April 2, 2013

This place is much closer to SLO than I thought. I've had their wine before but never ventured past Paso Robles. I'm glad I did. Not far from the airport, You owe it to yourself to come in. It was clean and a bit elegant, staff wasn't that chatty but always had a smile.
