Decent Italian food, however the portions are somewhat small. Service was friendly. Overall, there is better Italian in SLO.

“Escargot and more!”
Reviewed November 29, 2013

I had the Escargot and Veal Milanese. The escargot was bubbling with lots of wonderful garlic sauce. Be sure to dip your bread and get every bit of that sauce. The Veal Milanese very tender and melted in your mouth. The beet salad was excellent and enough for two to share. To top of this great meal the lemon sorbet in the lemon skin was perfect! I can't wait to go back!

“Favorite restaurant from years ago”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

We've just visited a restaurant we used to go to often when our children were going to school in SLO. The people working there are so friendly, as usual. My husband had his old favorite, veal piccata....fabulous. I had duck confit, which is my favorite meal in France where it's always the same...salty and moist and tender, This was a little different....not as salty and not as moist but very tender....it had an orange reduction sauce which made it different and not quite the same.

“Enchanted Italian Evening”
Reviewed June 23, 2013

We enjoyed a special graduation dinner (Cal Poly) here last Saturday night with our son and family! The food was fresh, delicious and so creatively presented. Our waiter was kind and caring, especially given we had our 2 1/2 yr. old grandson with us too. The Hearst Ranch beef ravioli and the peppercorn steak were perfect! The manager was very polite when we arrived minus a few in our party. A rearrangement of table was made most hospitably. The interior decor transports one to Italy for the feeling of a night on the piazza. As a travel advisor, I'm always on the lookout for restaurants (for clients) that "go the extra" with customer service and outstanding eats! Don't make the mistake we did of waiting to try this gem! Go now!!

“Always a wonderful experience.”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

Try the braised ribs! They have a decent wine list, prices are fair and service has always been very good.
