I stayed at the resort a few years ago, while attending a local event, and booked a room in one of their spa suites on the other side of Avila Drive. You cannot drive to this particular area, so must either walk across the bridge and down a small gravel road, or take one of the hotel transportation carts. Either way it was a nice experience and gives one the sense of privacy.
The rooms were spacious and well appointed, and the patios were all equipped with private outdoor hot tubs. A very nice experience.
