My wife and I recently ate here and loved the burgers. They're Angus beef and I believe they might have been a third of a pound, a good size. Plus the cheeses, toppings and breads for the buns are a nice selection you don't always get with burgers like mozarella, portabella mushrooms, sprouts, garlic bread or ciabatta to name just a few choices.
Unfortunately for my wife who is allergic to Gluten, all of their fries are battered. This is one of the only places she can't eat fries, so we'll hope they make changes to that eventually, as the fries were very good but surprisingly don't come with the burgers. Had to order them separately.
We liked the high ceilings (18 feet?) and woodwork around the bar. The Happy Hour menu is great with plenty of food apps and drinks on special. They also have a nice area upstairs for eating or bands in the evenings.
We enjoyed it and will be back, but not after trying some other burger places in SLO.
