Our family of 4 ate breakfast at Louisa's Place in San Luis Obispo on a foggy, Sunday morning. We arrived around 9:30 and were told the wait would be 30-45 minutes. We waited 1 1/2 hours! I guess part of the problem is the restaurant is VERY small. Unless you wish to dine at the counter (first come, first serve, please stand behind the patron and wait your turn), there are only 3 tables for 4, 2 tables for 3, 1 table for 2. I guess you can also "call ahead" and jump the line, as well.
After the long, cold wait, the food was just okay. The portions were large, but really, nothing special about the omelette. Too bad, because there aren't many places open for breakfast in downtown SLO.
