We were greeted on our drive through the vineyards by Sammi, the owner's Australian cattle dog. The tasting room is behind the family home. We were the first visitors to arrive when they opened at 11, so we were treated to a quiet seat on the patio overlooking the vineyards and hills while the owner (Nick, I believe) brought out our wines to sample. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, explaining the differences between the types of wines and grapes.
It was absolutely gorgeous, and if we hadn't gotten hungry for lunch, we could have stayed there all day, watching the hummingbirds, the dogs, and the arriving visitors.
