This use to be a lovely course. Water is a problem, but that shouldn't effect the upkeep. Bad cart paths, bad tee boxes at least the women's, you walk a block for carts and then you walk a block to get to the restrooms. It was difficult to figure out the holes as they didn't match the card. Most of the staff is so friendly and helpful, but a couple of boss types were quite rude and loud. Felt sorry for the older marshals who tried to help, but got yelled at in front of customers. This could be the best course, but needs lots of TLC

“Over rated....no where near resort.”
Reviewed May 27, 2014

Way overpriced if you pay rack. Good value if you have a GROUPON, $70 for two was a fair price. The course has been reconfigured so your GPS is pointless. Scorecards don't have course layout so each hole is a guess leaving a lot of holes to be played blind, you are a cranky local who knows the course. The best thing about the course were the greens. Rolled, beautiful, fast. & true. The carts are ratty as heck. Bring a blanket to sit on until they invest in new carts.

“Disappointed”
Reviewed January 26, 2014 via mobile

My wife and I played this course for the first time and were disappointed. I know there is a serious drought going on but the fairways were not in good shape, bare patches showing. For first timers there is confusing transition from one green to the next tee box and the scorecard is no help. The condition of greens was good, but the tee boxes were uneven. Carts are old and need to be replaced.

“Disappointing golf outing.”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

My wife and I played this course for the first time and were disappointed. The main problem is the layout!! For first timers there is confusing transition from one green to the next tee box and there are a number of holes where second and approach shots are blind. On one dogleg par four there was a line of mature trees about 100 yards in front of the tee box, partially blocking a view of the fairway and leading to confusion regarding a preferred landing spot for the tee shot. The condition of the fairways and greens was good, the tee boxes were uneven, and the cart paths were sometimes paved and sometimes unpaved. Of the several carts we were offered, all had torn vinyl seats. Playing behind two threesomes we had a 5+ hour round, a marshal would have been helpful to keep things moving.
