Small venue in a beautifully maintained facility staffed by SLO students and with really no bad seats. We were four rows behind the symphony for this magnificent show which included aerial acrobatics, a very talented soprano and an outstanding piano player. Snacks and drinks were very reasonably priced. We live in LA but would love to attend another show at this facility. Bravo!

The PAC has a wide variety of artists and events throughout the year. Parking is plentiful and it is easy to get in and out of. The seating is good and since it is smaller a good place to see an artist. The acoustics are also very good.

Cal Poly PAC (Performing Arts Center) offers world-class entertainment in the small California Central Coast County of San Luis Obispo. We have been season ticket holders since it opened. The seating is comfortable with wider than average area in front of them, which makes it easier to get to the seats. We most recently attended the spectacular Dance Theatre of Harlem. The PAC books a wide variety of acts including musicians, dance, comedy, speakers, ethnic entertainment, opera, musicals, children’s programming and more. Some of the other more recent stellar performances we have seen include Wynton Marsalis, and the Moscow Ballet, and we are looking forward to attending our third performance by the popular group Pink Martini In December 2013. The PAC serves refreshments including snacks, and a small, but excellent selection of local wines-a Tablas Creek blend was available at our most recent visit. Their calendar of events can be found on the Cal Poly PAC website or one can be placed on their email for notification of scheduled and newly booked performances. Book early for the best selection of seats. There is a charge for parking; the traffic can be heavy so allow ample time for parking and getting to your seats. If someone forgets their tickets, duplicates are available at the ticket window with photo i.d. of the name under which it was booked.

Theaters of this caliber are usually found only in the "big" city. Yet, here in San Luis Obispo we have an elegant, comfortable, acoustically incredible venue to rival any great city.
