“Some construction happening but a nice place to visit”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

This is a good bargain for the price. Interesting history and artifacts. There was some construction happening but it did not interfere too much with the enjoyment of the site. Definitely recommend a visit.

“Jewel of the Mission chain”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

One of the most spiritual places in California and certainly the Jewel of the chain of missions I've visited in California and Arizona. A wonderful wedding and event venue.

“A piece of California History”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

The King of the Mission has a beautiful church as well as a great museum. It was just retrofitted for earthquake safety. Gardens and old cemetery are so interesting.

“Jewel in the City”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

The San Juan Capistrano Mission is a Jewel in the city. The place is tranquil and peaceful and has several varieties of Plants and fruit Trees that are all well maintained and full of color. The Buildings and grounds are wonderful for picture taking. The day I was there many school aged kids were walking around with guides learning the history. In the middle of the courtyard is a wonderful fountain that is home to many Coy fish that look well fed. The church is also beautiful. This place is a great day trip and should be experienced first hand.
