Walked into Ziba yesterday for lunch. Decoration simple but elegant. Service excellent. The restaurant was about half full (not half empty!) the the 2 wait staff was more than sufficient to handle everybody's needs. Plus the manager came out to ensure all was well. Took great care of us. The Chicken Kabob (boneless) comes on a huge plate with saffron rice and a grilled tomato. Just wonderful! The chicken was so tender and tasty. I think succulent is the word. The tomato was so tasty. Just wonderful. Had a side of lavash, Persian flat bread and Masto-Khiar, a mixture of yogurt and cucumber; and Kashe- Bademjan, a mixture of mashed eggplant and onions and garlic. Somewheres along the line, we had a small plate of mint leaves, onion slices, and soft cheese. I normally don't eat raw onions but these onions were sweet! They must have somehow soaked the onions first in something to get rid of the "spiciness." I just can't say enough about the quality of this restaurant. Great food + great service = Great Review! Enough said!
