Walked in ten minutes after the 9 AM opening and saw four tables already waiting for their breakfast.

The bowls are large and can accept fistfuls of onions, chili peppers, Thai basil and bean sprouts before topping off.

The broth is just right and does not need any more salty extra, except for a dash of the spicy red chili sauce.

The beef and noodle portions could be more generous but this is breakfast after all.

It is a good pho place that validates the recommendations of knowledgeable customers.

Tip: cash only.

My beloved and I were car-shopping on the Capitol Expressway in San Jose and needed a quick lunch break. We drove east from the auto mall area, across US 101 and into the superfluency of noodle houses over there. Out of many choices we opted for this place in a roadside shopping mall. It was highly recommended by TA people and deservedly so, we decided. It's clean and well run, with very polite staff and quick service. We both ordered a beef selection with well-cooked brisket and skirt steak. A "small" bowl was huge, in our humble opinion more than adequate for a good, filling and warming lunch. Pho noodle palaces give "fast food" a good name!

We came by there for an early lunch and there was a good amount of people here around 11am. The menu was pretty simple but if you check out the back, it's pretty interesting.

I ordered the #1 large and I though it was pretty decent. It wasn't as large as other places and the soup was only average, but it was neither horrible or the best I've tried.

I do feel that they rushed us through ordering as they came up right away when we sat down to take our order without even giving us a menu. Two other waiters came by to take our order before we could finish looking at the menu.
