Front staff very helpful with use of business center. Helped print boarding passes. Rooms were clean but awkward floor plan. No time for breakfast but looked great.
It was near the airport.

I usually stay at Days Inns

Booked at this hotel for two nights . . .The room was dirty, the bathroom disgusting. The whole property look shabby.

Interesting I stayed at the Days Inn in Lathdrop, California one night and found it delightful.

All the guest rooms are cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis, the property is not dirty nor shabby, the building may be an older building but it is certainly by no means shabby, and as you can see from other reviews guests are saying the rooms are very clean.

This review is from my wife.....Rug smelly, room had musty smell, bathroom like an old bathroom with old tile with musty smell, furniture was dated back in the 90's. It was clean. Convenient, close to the airport. A place to sleep after a long flight. Highway was about 30 feet above up the bank. Bed was good to sleep on. Coffee in the morning was excellent. Breakfast had no waffles and no eggs. Continental breakfast. My wife wanted to title this review, "Woe to you" but I said she had to be nicer, so she chose the above instead. Checkout was 11 am. We checked in about 11 pm. It was very dark and my wife was assuming the worse. She was expecting a hoe-stroll neighborhood, but in the day light it was much nicer. She says clean the rug, and the sofa chair.

For me, it did have that musty smell. But it was close to the airport, great coffee, and a good bed. Turn that air conditioner on and you forget about the musty smell.

Thank You for your wife's recent response, breakfast is strictly continental, no waffles and no eggs but plenty of other options such as toaster breads, hot and cold cereals, assorted muffins and Danish.
In the future if you are not satisfied with your accommodations please let us know right away so that we have the opportunity to correct the issue.

I booked the Hotel through hotwire.com to stay on 20-Aug-2013. We are not a smoker. When we checked in, we were given Smokers Room and even after humble request to the front Desk Lady, we were given Smokers Room.

1. Room has a Terrible TOBACCO Smell and we could not sleep whole night. 2. As hotels was very close to the Free way. There was noise through out the night.

As we booked through hotwire, they will not accommodate any of our Request. At the time of leaving, person at the Front Desk did not care about anything. A really Terrible experience in San Jose. I would say, If you are with Family,Avoiding DAYS Inn is wise decision.

I will never STAY in DAYS INN.

As this our first sleepless night, we will be very careful selecting the HOTELS.

As I explained in my email to you, when you book your reservation through Hotwire you can not select the room type you prefer, the property did not reserve you in a smoking room, Hotwire reserved you in a smoking room, all the property does is assign a room number. The property did not purposely put you in a smoking room, we held for you the room Hotwire reserved for you.

You requested to be changed to a non smoking room this was not an option the evening you checked in as we were sold out, if we have the availability we will change your room if you are unhappy, unfortunately this could not be done as there were no other rooms available.

Please let Hotwire know how unhappy you were with the room they reserved for you, the property again did not give you a smoking room because you booked through Hotwire, Hotwire reserved this room type for you and we held it for you.

When you book your reservation directly with the property you can reserve the room type you prefer, such as, smoking, non smoking, king bed or double queens. When you book through Hotwire you can not select the room type you prefer nor can you select the number of beds you would prefer, this is why they offer such deeply discounted rates.

May I suggest in the future calling the property directly to make your reservation to be sure you receive the room type you prefer.
