“Disappointing”

Lake Cunningham Park

Even the parking attendant told us before entering it's not much of a park. We went in anyway, looked around the place was not taken care of at all, yet they charge for parking. The grass was dead, litter scattered about and the lake was filthy, not even clean enough for swimming, since swimming is not allowed. Not many trees either. Needless to say it only took 5 minutes of exploring the park to realize it was a waste of time. Even if there were no parking costs it has nothing to draw anyone to it, except that it's located next door to Raging Waters.

The is where Raging Waters, Water park is. The park seems smaller than I remember but, that is besides the point. A lot of the slides look old. the wave pool is super crowded. The food is way over priced.

Boating, fishing, biking, and picnicing are central activities enjoyed here. The huge skateboard park and adjacent water park provide further fun options.

This place is picturesque, found my new running spot! There's a really nice trail that encircles the lake, then it suddenly stops when you get to the amusement park nearby, so beware. Lots of kids playing in the multiple play areas, with lots of covered spots to just sit and enjoy nature. What more can a girl ask for? I was in heaven as I watched the sunset- see pictures.

Noticed potter potties, no real bathrooms. Also smelled heavily of urine along some spots on the trail- I guess people are too lazy to walk to the designated areas for this? Please don't ruin this place for others' enjoyment. :(

There's also a skate & amusement park right next to this place!

This park is connected to Raging Waters, so plan to stop by before or after. Bring some bread with you to feed the ducks. There are many trails for bike riding or just going for a nice walk. The playgrounds are fun for kids too.
