“Good classic Italian”
Reviewed March 8, 2013

We were party of 5. The menu offered all Italia classics. We had Angel Hair Tomato sauce pasta, Lasgna, etc. All were good. The special I ordered - Swordfish was not great. They tried to stuff it and the result was a bit greasy and burned outside.
The environment is nice. I would visit again.

“Great Food, wonderful atmosphere”
Reviewed March 4, 2013 via mobile

When my Husband chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, I was delighted! The food selection was good and with a large party of 15 in the wine room, it couldn't be much better. Everyone made different selections FRI salmon, pasta, pizza, seafood and roasted chicken--everyone was pleased. Top it off with friendly, efficient service-simply put a delightful evening!

“excellent food wine and service”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

We had salmon, balsamic salad and ranchella appetizer. All were excellent. The apple and gelato dessert is super yummy. Easy atmosphere and good family venue. If you are in downtown a must stop.

“Very nice”

Directly across the street from the San Jose Marrriott. Very nice Italian restaurant at reasonable prices considering the meal quality and the restaurant is located in a hotel.

“Not so hot”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

I've always liked this restaurant--a nice open room with some more private booths, yellow walls, Italian knick knacks. A nicely varied menu that offers, beyond its regular items, specialties chosen from a varying region of Italy. A nice wine selection, by the bottle and glass. But this recent visit was only so-so, partly because I ordered badly, I think. The creamy polenta with mushrooms and gravy that I had as a starter was more like a finisher: too much cheese and gravy that needed more flavor; overall, heavy. Followed by a pizza (my mistake, admittedly) that was not as good as one you'd get at Domino's. I ended up taking three-fourths of it home with me. Service was good. Parking a bit pricey.
