I'm no ramen connoisseur so this place is just average for me. Cash only so be careful.

I have three local ramen houses that I recommend and Ramen Halu is the one I recommend for "advanced" ramen.

I have been to Ramen Halu for lunch and dinner. The reason I call their ramen "advanced" is because the ingredients (e.g. the kinds of mushrooms and seaweed) are closer to what you might find in Japan or other parts of Asia.

The food is consistently good and very filling. The ramen noodles have the right size and texture and the soup has the richest and most flavorful broth I have tried. The broth is an excellent combination of chicken and pork stock.

If you or members of your dining party are looking to try ramen for the first time, Halu Ramen might be a little too adventurous. But if you have that sense of adventure, Halu Ramen is for you.

I recommend checking their hours before going because their business hours may seem "unusual" plus they are very popular so expect a wait.
