“Great place...”
Reviewed November 23, 2013 via mobile

We started off with a bottle of Chianti. The Classico is fine. Our appetizer was the fried green beans; not what comes to mind when I think of Italian but very tasty. The main courses were lamb chops and the roasted chicken both were exceptional. The service was friendly, but we had keep asking them over for this and that. In all a good dining experience. Do the romance package coupled with the de anza hotel, co-located. We got a $75 Resturant voucher.

“Popular location close to SAP Center”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

The restaurant is attractive and comfortable. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I shared the house salad ($10) which was memorable for the roasted pistachios. The only item on the menu that met my husband's severely restricted salt diet, was the hamburger which was well prepared with salt free fries and condiments on the side. I had a pasta dish with Pecorino cheese and pepper. Both dishes were very tasty. The wine the waitress selected to accompany my meal was excellent. My husband had Dolce de Leche gelato for dessert and I had a semifreddo (rich, sumptuous ice cream and wafers) surrounded by caramel sauce. Service was evenly paced--we felt neither rushed nor ignored. The place was packed on a Monday night. Price including one beer and one espresso was under $100.

“Great Italian food and wine.”

Wonderful restaurant located in the Hotel De Anza. Didn't realize that we needed to make a reservation the night we were there, but they still accommodated us right away. Great service and good food!

“Limited Menu but Very Good”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

Excellent appetizers, especially the roasted Brussels sprouts and carpaccio. The beet salad was on the small side but tasty, the pasta dishes were perfectly al dente, the pizza with arugula was perfectly Italian--few American Italian restaurants have caught onto this trend. While eating it, we thought we were back in Venice. The Pannacotta dessert was very thick and creamy/cheesy, with a crunchy fruit topping, and the chocolate mocha Creme Brûlée was oh so chocolatey. Good coffee too, and waiter Robert was so good, we requested him for our next meal here. He is cool and funny and knowledgeable.

“Go to spot for great food”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

We eat here a lot. There is enough variety on the menu to keep us coming back. Fabulous appetizers to get you started (fava beans, mushroom, shrimp), also great salads. The pastas are always a good choice. There are also several meat dishes, including a veal chop.
Don't forget deserts. The chocolate pot de Cremer is amaze!
Go ear and sit in. The beautiful bar!
