My husband and I live in Seaside CA and my daughter lives in Santa Clara with her husband and they are vegetarien (no animal products). We as a family has been frequented this Santana Row restaurante since our twin grand daughters were babies (now 13) and we have always been very satisfied. We particular like their choices of veg. pizzas. The atmosphere has a very European feel.
The service over the years have occasionally been spotty but it is not keeping us from coming back over the last 13 years.

It's hard to find a place that makes a good, crispy thin crust pizza. Antica does it.

We had the Taverrite's Hot Calabrese Sausage pizza that was nicely spicy and cooked to perfection in their fired oven. The craft beer was good but the red wine was only 'ok.' The Caesar salad is also above average with large romaine leafs and just the right amount of the tangy dressing.

We opted to sit outside so that we could do some people watching. Outside seats that were near the building looked to be crowded by side-walkers. I'd avoid those.

This place is very busy so be prepared for a wait. Put your name on the list and then go for a walk around Santana Row.

Very intimate location compared to others on the row. The potato truffle pizza is incredible and the wine list is more then adequate .

This is a very busy place, we had to wait to be seated. No one minds because Santana Row is fun for people watching. This was my second visit and I enjoyed dining here again. The restaurant is a bit loud, so conversation isn't all that easy.

Loved this place - although very busy, and a wait to get seated....the Pizza was thin, and delicious. The dough was outstanding and each pizza is cooked in a brick oven which takes about 2-3 minutes to cook once prepped and makes for an outstanding pie that is authentic italian. Great choice if you can get a table in advance.
